Most travel sites try to cover the whole world — and end up paying very little attention to any one place. We've gone the other way. We only book hotels in New York City. That focus lets us do three things bigger platforms can't.

Every hotel in our index has been verified for the things New York travelers actually care about: subway access, soundproofing, true neighborhood, the small details a generic search can't tell you.

Our team is based in Manhattan. We've stayed in most of these hotels. We know which rooms face the alley and which restaurants nearby are worth your time.
