How do I book a hotel?+
Use the search bar on the homepage to enter your dates and number of guests. Browse results, pick a hotel, choose a room, fill in your details, and pay. You'll get a confirmation email immediately.
When am I charged?+
Your card is charged in full at the time of booking. We use Stripe for processing — your card details never touch our servers.
What if I need to cancel?+
Most rooms are fully refundable up to 48 hours before check-in. Non-refundable rooms have a 24-hour grace period after booking. Full policy is on every hotel page.
Can I get a refund after the deadline?+
Generally no — but contact us if there's an emergency or extenuating circumstance. We work with our hotel partners to find a solution where we can.
What's the cancellation policy for non-refundable rooms?+
Non-refundable rooms can be cancelled within 24 hours of booking for a full refund. After that, no refund is available, but you can release the room (and we'll notify the hotel) at no charge.
Will I be charged extra at the hotel?+
We include all NYC taxes and standard cleaning + occupancy fees in your total upfront. You'll only pay extra for incidentals (room service, parking, etc.).
Are airport transfers included?+
No — but several of our hotels offer paid airport pickup. Check the amenities section of each hotel page.
When can I check in?+
Standard check-in is from 3 PM. Most hotels offer luggage storage for earlier arrivals. Early check-in is sometimes available — note your arrival time at booking and we'll relay the request.
What time is check-out?+
Standard check-out is by 11 AM. Late check-out may be available at the front desk on the day, subject to availability.
Are pets allowed?+
Pet policy varies by hotel. Filter for 'Pets allowed' on the search page to see only pet-friendly options.
Do you have rooms for accessibility needs?+
Yes — many hotels offer accessible and hearing-accessible rooms. Look in each hotel's room list, or contact us and we'll find one that fits.
What's the best neighborhood to stay in?+
Depends on the trip. Times Square / Theater District is best for shows. Midtown is best for Central Park + museums. SoHo / Tribeca are best for restaurants and shopping. Financial District is great for value and weekend escapes.
Will I get my favorite room?+
Specific room assignments are at the hotel's discretion. We pass on requests like high floor, away from elevator, quiet side — and most properties honor them when they can.
Is the price guaranteed?+
Yes. If you find the same room for less elsewhere within 24 hours of booking, we'll refund the difference. See our best-price page for details.
I lost my booking reference. How do I find it?+
Email us at bookings@staynycmanhattan.com with the name and email used at booking. We'll look it up.
